Marsh forms energy team, names group leader

Marsh Inc. has formed a Denver-based energy team, the broker announced in a statement Monday.
Serving energy clients in Colorado, Montana and Wyoming, Lynn Finch heads the group as Rocky Mountain region oil and gas practice leader. She reports to Don Holmes, Marsh's Denver office head. Previously, Ms. Finch was head of Marsh's Oklahoma operations.
“As exploration and production operations in the region — including shale drilling — continue to expand, energy companies must address a number of new and emerging exposures, including regulatory changes, contractual risks, transactional risks related to mergers and acquisitions, environmental risks, and safety concerns,” said Bertil Olsson, Marsh's North American energy practice leader, in a statement. “Establishing an energy team for the Rocky Mountain region in Denver, under Lynn Finch's leadership, will enable us to provide the local expertise and insight that energy companies need to manage this complex risk landscape.”
